Taranta Night
A music festival highlighting traditional Salento music and its contamination with other musical languages. It takes place on several dates in various squares of Salento, culminating in the concert of Melpignano to which musicians of national and international fame partecipate.

Feast of San Rocco – Torre Paduli
On the evening of August 15, thousands of people gather in the small town of Torrepaduli to participate, to the rhythm of “Pizzica”, the “dance of swords”, mimed combat in which the “duellists” mimic a challenge of fencing to the pressing rhythm of tambourines.
