The olive harvest is complete, light pruning begins at Masseria Monache, and good agricultural practices are planned<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

They entered the olive grove early in the morning, leaned the stairs against the olive trees and armed themselves with scissors and saws, and got lost among the branches. For the inhabitants of the Masseria the light pruning has begun: the dry branches are cut and those that prevent the passage of the light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, however, we must supply the soil with the right nourishment with natural fertilizers, protect the foliage from pests, pass the copper sulphate on the trunks: the good old agricultural practices, here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trees show the after-effects of suffering suffered due to the high summer temperatures and the few rains, but they are already loaded with new vegetation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
